چکیده

Background: Pre-eclampsia (P-EC) is a pregnancy-specific disorder, characterised by placental insufficiency and endothelial dysfunction. It significant cause of maternal fetal morbidity. Women with history P-EC have heightened risks future cardiovascular thromboembolic disease. In addition, pre- clamptic patients elevated levels clotting angiogenic factors; however it unclear whether these changes persist postpartum. Aims: The aim this study was to investigate the relationship between haemostatic as well anti-angiogenic factors in women past-history P-EC, including vascular growth factor (VEGF), (PlGF), soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase-1 (sFlt-1) endoglin (sEng), combination tissue (TF) TF pathway inhibitor (TFPI), also were altered postpartum P-EC. Methods: followed case-control design. Blood samples obtained at 6-12 months from 21 primiparous after pregnancy affected previously unaffected pregnancy. Plasma concentrations each determined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results: Significant differences not observed VEGF (p=0.068), PlGF (p=0.333), sFlt-1 (p=0.910), sEng (p=0.612), (p=0.260) or TFPI (p=0.786) without pre-eclampsia. Additionally, no difference found TF: ratio case control groups (p=0.734). Conclusion: This does support hypothesis that VEGF, PlGF, sFlt-1, sEng, are compared controls. However, we weak positive association all parameters measured. While acknowledge pilot sample sizes relatively small, our results suggest circulating haemostatic, significantly

The Correlation between Markers of Systemic Inflammation and Angiogenic Markers in Pre-eclampsia.

UNLABELLED Pre-eclampsia is a severe multisystemic syndrome that represents a major cause of maternal, foetal and neonatal mortality and morbidity. In the study we conducted it stood out the. significant modifications of angiogenic markers in pregnant women suffering from pre-eclampsia and the existence of a correlation between C-reactive protein (CRP) and SBP, DBP and average BP. Serum magnesium levels in patients with pre-eclampsia and eclampsia with different regimens of magnesium sulphate

Background Pre-eclampsia and the subsequent eclampsia account for a common cause of maternal mortality worldwide and efforts aimed at reducing its menace are vital. Objective To estimate the serum magnesium levels in pre-eclampsia and eclampsia and to study the effect of using different regimens of magnesium sulphate. Methods 70 cases of pre-eclampsia and eclampsia and 35 normal pregnant women ...

Coagulation and fibrinolytic systems in pre-eclampsia and eclampsia.

The coagulation and fibrinolytic mechanisms were investigated in a group of patients with severe pre-eclampsia and eclampsia and the findings were compared with those of healthy women in late pregnancy. In patients with pre-eclampsia the following significant differences were found: (1) greater depression of plasma fibrinolytic activity (euglobulin lysis time) than in normal pregnancy, (2) a hi...
